Veeram is an adaptation of legendary poet Shakespear’s classic Macbeth.

Directed by national award-winning film-maker Jayaraj Nair, the film has been co-produced by Chandramohan Pillai and Pradeep Rajan of Chandrakala Arts.

This multi crore thriller is being produced by Chandramohan Pillai, under the banner Chandrakala Arts and is being made in Hindi, English and Malayalam.
Bollywood hero Kunal Kapoor , who plays the lead, was present at the occasion along with the film’s cast and crew. Several notable names from Mollywood were present at the occasion.
Veteran music director M K Arjunan master was honoured at the occasion. He has composed a song for Veeram, written by late Kavalam Narayana Panicker.
The first look of Kunal Kapoor’s upcoming period drama Veeram A Tragedy of Ambition has been released and the actor is seen in a never before avatar. Sporting long tresses and putting on 12 kilos, Kapoor looks all set to play an ancient warrior.
Set in the backdrop of ancient Kerala, it is said to be the story of the warrior Chanthu Chekavar.
