Kangana is in the US shooting for Hansal Mehta’s film ‘Simran’. The incident occurred when she and a few members of her team were returning from the shooting location, which was outside Georgia, to their hotel in Atlanta.

An insider spilled the beans about the incident and said, “A local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane (meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move.” When the driver blacked out, Kangana’s local bodyguard, who was sitting next to the driver, tried to control the car’s movement by maneuvering the steering wheel.

But apparently in that nervous moment, he couldn’t control the vehicle, which swerved to the right and cut through three of the highway’s lanes sharply, before banging into an iron fence.
Within minutes of the accident, the local police reached the spot. Kangana made sure that everyone else was well looked-after. Later, the film’s makers ensured that Kangana and the others went to the hospital for checkups to ensure no one suffered from any internal injuries.

Within minutes the local police reached the spot and Ranaut ensured all members of the film were well looked after. The makers of the film have ensured that the actor and the members of the team in the car crash are sent to private hospital to check for internal injuries. The actor didn’t stall the shoot, and went back to work next day.

Producer Shailesh R Singh confirmed the incident, calling it a ‘narrow escape’ given it could have proved life-threatening for everyone in the vehicle. He said, “It was a narrow escape. It’s a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot.”
