The movie is releasing in 9000 screens worldwide and 6500 screens in India only. Great India Films acquiring the rights for North America, the ticket pricing is ranging between $25-$30 for Telugu Version, $20-$25 for Tamil version and $15-$21 for Hindi Version which is all for normal screens. Apart from these, the IMAX screens also counts with the prices touching as high as $45 for the premier in New Jersy, New York and California.
In AP, the film will have six shows a day, while Telangana will have five shows. Produced by Arka Mediaworks, the sequel is made on a budget of Rs 250 crore and has already fetched enough moolah for the producers even before the release. Reports also suggest that Baahubali 2 raked in Rs 500 crore through its satellite and distribution rights. Collectively put together all the factors, Baahubali 2 is expected to shatter box-office records and is very likely to emerge as the first Indian film to earn Rs 1000 crore.
While with higher pre-release buzz and screen count, the latest installment is positively expected to collect more than 60 crores at Indian market only, including around 15 crores from it’s Hindi version. It won’t be surprising if Baahubali 2 enters in 100 crore club (gross) by the opening day worldwide.
