Rajneesh Duggal made his Bollywood debut in the 2008 horror movie 1920 alongside Adah Sharma. Before becoming an actor, Rajneesh was a successful model and had won the title of Grasim Mr. India in 2003. Having appeared in a number of television commercials, Rajneesh is best remembered for Bombay Vikings’ 2004 music video for ‘Chodd Do Aanchal’.
Rajneesh, born on the 19th of November, 1981 in Delhi, is a double graduate, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Apeejay School of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. He started his career as a model and was seen in several TVCs such as Raymond, Kitkat, Monte Carlo, Wagon R, Yamaha, Videocon, and Clinic All Clear to name a few. He participated in the 2003 Grasim Mr. India pageant and went on to win it, following which he represented India in the Mr. International pageant, where he was declared the first runner up. Rajneesh is married to his longtime girlfriend Pallavi Duggal and, together, the couple has a daughter called Teeya, who was born on 11th November, 2010.
After having established his career as a model, Rajneesh made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with Vikram Bhatt’s horror movie 1920 co-starring Adah Sharma. The movie went on to be commercially and critically successful. He was next seen in the 2011 romantic-thriller Phhir alongside his 1920 co-star Adah Sharma, and Roshni Chopra. The movie opened to mainly mixed reviews but went on to be an average grosser at the box-office. The following year, the actor made appeared in the multi-lingual movie This Weekend, which was in Hindi, and was made in, both, Tamil as Kattu Puli and Telugu as Aranyam, marking his debut in both the industries.
Rajneesh participated in and won the stunt/action reality game show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in its fifth season in 2014, which was hosted by movie director Rohit Shetty. Among the participants were Kushal Tandon, Gauhar Khan, Ajaz Khan, Rochelle Rao, and Gurmeet Choudhary, whom he went on to star in in the 2016 crime thriller Wajah Tum Ho.
Next, he appeared in the detective thriller movie Samrat & Co., which had Rajeev Khandelwal playing the lead role. The movie was trashed by the critics and barely managed to get one or two stars as critic ratings. Rajneesh enjoyed the success equivalent to his debut with the 2015 thriller drama Ek Paheli Leela co-starring Sunny Leone, Jay Bhanushali, and Rahul Dev. The movie was well-received by, both, the critics and the audience and went on to become a commercial success. Next, he was seen alongside Randeep Hooda and Piaa Bajpai in the 2016 action thriller Laal Rang, which opened to mainly negative reviews. He was then cast opposite Sunny Leone in the thriller Beiimaan Love, which was panned by the critics. Appearing in an ensemble cast, Rajneesh was seen cast alongside Sana Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary, and Sharman Joshi in the crime thriller Wajah Tum Ho directed by Vishal Pandya. His other projects includes Udanchhoo opposite Sayyeshaa Saigal, who was seen in Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay.
